Take a break from the books and join other postgraduates for an evening of bowling! Join our ResLife Ambassadors at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre for an evening of knocking down pins. Whether you're aiming for a strike or just in it for the socialising, this is a great chance to unwind, meet new people, and enjoy some friendly competition. All skill levels are welcome and tickets are free!

Expect good vibes, light-hearted competition, and plenty of chances to meet new people!

We’ll be hitting the lanes at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre. You can view its location on the map here. The nearest bus stop for this location is North Parade.

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you outside the main entrance on road level (as if walking across Pulteney Bridge). You’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue hoodies with the ResLife logo on.

This is a relaxed event where you can meet with fellow resident Postgraduate students and bond over a friendly bowling match.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you and explain the rules of the game to anyone who hasn’t played before. The lane is booked for 1 full game and there is the option to purchase drinks and food at the venue for anyone who would like to do so.

There is low lighting in the bowling lane room itself, with multi-coloured lights along the lanes and towards the back of the room. There is seating available.

If you need a quieter spot, just ask one of the ResLife Ambassadors and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.
