Pancakes for dinner? Yes please!

Flip your Pancake Day plans upside down and join us for a pancake party at John Wood! Whether you’re a classic lemon and sugar fan or all about chocolate, fruit, and sprinkles, this is your chance to build the pancake stack of your dreams.

Come along to decorate your own pancakes with a variety of tasty toppings, then sit down and enjoy them together in a relaxed, social setting. It’s all about good food, good company, and a cosy evening spent catching up with friends or meeting new people.

No cooking skills needed, just bring your appetite and your creativity. Let’s make Pancake Day extra sweet!

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in the John Wood Social Space. You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

The space is fully accessible with automatic doors and accessible toilets on the ground floor. If you prefer to arrive earlier, there is plenty of seating available in the social space, and ResLife Ambassadors will be setting up the table to hold food up to 15 minutes before the start of the event.

ResLife ambassadors will meet you in the John Wood Social Space.

At this event you are invited to make, flip and eat your own pancakes for pancake day.

You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like.

A range of topping options will be available, and allergens will be clearly labelled. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, feel free to let a member of the team know on arrival, we’re happy to help.

If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.
