Get ready to grab the mic and unleash your inner superstar! Our upcoming Karaoke Night is the perfect excuse to take a break from deadlines, group projects, and endless reading. Whether you sing like a chart-topping icon or just love belting out your favourite tunes with friends, this is your night to shine.

Join our ResLife Ambassadors and fellow students for an evening packed with music, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Solo performances, duets, group sing-alongs – anything goes and everyone is welcome.

This event isn’t about hitting every note perfectly. It’s about letting go, cheering each other on, and enjoying some carefree fun. Bring your friends, meet new people, and discover hidden vocal talents (or just have a great laugh trying).

So warm up those vocal cords, pick your go-to anthem, and come join us for a night of music, community, and pure fun. The stage is waiting.

We’ll be putting on our award-winning performances at Boom Battle Bar for the evening. Located near The Odeon, you can see it’s location on the map here.

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you outside the main entrance to the bar so you can go in together. You’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue hoodies with the ResLife logo on.

Karaoke Night is a relaxed, welcoming space where you can join in or just enjoy the music. You can sing solo, with friends, or simply cheer from the crowd, there’s no pressure to perform.

We’ll keep the volume at a comfortable level where possible, but please be aware the karaoke rooms have low lighting with coloured lights that may flash. ResLife Ambassadors will help you find a quiet area in the bar if you need a break, and you’re welcome to bring headphones or comfort items.

Our RLAs will be there to support you, answer questions, and help you feel at ease. Come as you are, take part in the way that feels right for you, and enjoy a fun night with fellow students.
