The American Museum and Gardens is only a short walk from campus and is home to beautiful Gardens, numerous exhibitions and an American-style Diner. With the weather getting nicer, it's definitely worth taking a trip!
What's on offer:
The museum is located in Claverton Manor, a beautiful historic building with large gardens and views of the city. The museum showcases lots of different rooms with art, exhibitions and a lot of American history.
From now until the end of 2024 there is also an American Road Trip Exhibition, an interactive exhibition showing billboards and the history of American Road Trips. There's also a 1958 Harley Davidson Duo Glide motorcycle and lots of imagery of Route 66!
The gardens are beautiful, a great place to explore and discover so many new flowers. With March-April being daffodil month, the gardens have over 70,000 daffodils in bloom, making it a lovely place to explore over easter!
