Kirsten Maramo

Hi, I’m Kirsten and I’m in my second year studying Biochemistry! I’m from a town called Salisbury, not too far from here, and I stayed in Norwood during my first year. I loved it so much and made close bonds with my flatmates! In my free time, I like to go to the gym, grab a drink at the SU or go shopping in the city centre. I’m excited to meet you all and I hope I can make your experience as a first year as good as mine was!

Hello everyone! Welcome to university! I’m Mahir, a second-year Aerospace Engineering student from Surat, India. During my first year, I stayed at Norwood House, and it was an incredible experience—the sunsets and views were breathtaking, and my flatmates quickly became close friends, making me feel right at home. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about football and have been involved with engineering teams like TBRo and TBRe. I’m excited to meet you all and wish you a fantastic year ahead!

Hi, my name is Claire, and I’m a second-year student in biomedical sciences. I’m from Switzerland. For my first year I was in Norwood House and was lucky enough to have a beautiful view on sunsets for the whole year! I love to learn whether it be about people or new experiences. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and dancing, specifically Latin (bachata, salsa etc) and urban dancing. I look forward to meeting you all and hope you enjoy your first year through its ups and downs!
