Meet the ResLife Ambassadors for your building

Hello Norwood House and Osborne House. Your RLAs are here to support you during your first year at University as you settle into you accommodation and navigate life in Bath.

The ResLife Ambassadors will be friendly faces at events and will offer support through regular accommodation visits. It’s time to meet your ResLife Ambassadors.

Renali Senaratne

Pronouns: she/her

A brown woman with wavy hair smiling outdoors with a cloudy blue sky and greenery in the background.

I am a final year undergraduate student studying biochemistry. I'm an avid baker who loves experimenting with flavours yielding either delicious or very questionable results. I also adore crocheting, taking short walks or getting lost in a book. Growing up, I used to love swimming and tennis so I'm quite excited to dive back in this year!

Navya Singh

Pronouns: he/they

An Indian person with short brown hair, smiling indoors with flowers and shelves in the background.

Hi! My name is Navya, and I am one of your Inclusion Ambassadors this year! I am studying Biology and am currently in my 2nd year. In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, crocheting, playing the piano and spending time in nature – we are very lucky to be surrounded by so many gorgeous green spaces here in Bath!

Firuze Yilmaz

Pronouns: she/her

A young woman with dark brown hair, smiling indoors. She is wearing glasses and has an eyebrow piercing.

Hi, my name is Firuze and I am in Year 2 of my Psychology undergrad. I am half Azerbaijani, half Turkish, and a home student from London! I'm an avid artist who loves creating in both digital and traditional forms. Community is invaluable to me, so you'll often find me with my close-knit circle of friends, trying out random societies or classes, or flailing about in the gym.

I also have a long history with mental health and supporting others - whether that’s helping with formal applications to services or simply offering a listening ear. Never hesitate to reach out!

Isobel Shone

Pronouns: she/her

A white woman with shoulder-length ginger curly hair. She is smiling, and she's wearing a green dress with a floral pattern.

I’m Isobel, and I’m a final year maths student. My hobbies include board games, going for walks, and music - I play the piano and tuba. My biggest passion is everything relating to inclusivity and accessibility, and I’m currently chair of the SU Disability Action Group.
