Everyone is talking about arriving to university…
We understand moving to a new city and meeting new people is a bit of an unknown, and lots of our students tell us they felt nervous before they arrived. (Everyone does, even if they don’t admit it.) One of the most common concerns, is who am I going to be living with?
Living with people you have never met before can feel intimidating so to help you meet your housemates and neighbours before you arrive, we have our unique Unibuddy Community.
Unibuddy Community allows you to interact with your housemates and neighbours online before you even arrive in Bath. You will be invited to join your accommodation community once you receive your room offer. The invite be sent to your University of Bath email – make sure you check your emails regularly – particularly in late August when we will be sending out most of our room offers.
Our ResLife Ambassadors, who are current students, will be in Unibuddy groups as well. They will be able to share experience and answer questions about what it is like to live in University of Bath Accommodation.
Get ready to introduce yourself and start to build connections with the people who will be in your community when you arrive. Remember everyone is in the same position, be brave and say hello.
