This Easter break, we're bringing you our spring suggestions of activities to try or places to visit to make the most of your time off - perfect to experience by yourself or with friends! 

Did you know that as a University of Bath student, you can gain free entry to The Holburne Museum with the use of your library card? Open daily from 10am to 5pm Monday-Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays, The Holburne hosts a permenant collection of over 2,000 items, as well as regular featured exhibitions. 

This Easter, you can visit and see: 

  • Jann Haworth & Liberty Blake: Work In Progress - a seven panel mural showing women from across British history, commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery. 
  • Gwen John: Art and Life in London and Paris - a collection of paintings, drawings and sketches that take you chronologically through Gwen John's career. 
  • Lubaina Himid: Lost Threads - 400 metres of Dutch wax fabric weaving throughout the Holburne as an important message on textile production and it's history and implications. 
  • Gillian Lowndes: Radical Clay - table top and wall pieces from the artist that showcase her radical style of ceramic practice.
