Camembert, apple & cranberry pie

Ingredients
- Apple x 1 (Peal & Grate) – 1 will make 12
- Camembert x 1 Wheel
- Cranberry Sauce
- Pack of Short Crust Pastry
- Tablespoons of Dry Stuffing Mix x 2
- Raw Grated Potato x 1
- Seasoning (Salt & Pepper)
- Flour for Dusting
Method
- Break up camembert wheel in pieces and put in a bowl
- Grate a peeled apple straight into the bowl
- Grate a peeled potato straight into the bowl and mix
- Add two tablespoons of sage and onion stuffing mix
- Roll out short crust pastry, oil & flour a muffin tray.
- Using a large and small pastry cutter or glass, cut out some circles for your muffin tin
- Add the larger piece to the muffin tray ensuring it slightly overlaps the top
- Spoon the cheese mixture into the pastry cases until half full
- Add some cranberry sauce to the half-filled pastry
- Whisk an egg & once mixed, use to coat the top edge of your pies
- Add the smaller pastry to the top and pinch around the edges to form a seal
- Pierce a small hole in each of the pies to let the steam escape while baking
- Re apply egg to the top of the pie to ensure golden colour after baking
- Bake in a preheated oven 180°C 20 minutes until golden brown
- Do not try to remove the pies immediately from the trays. Allow them to rest for 5 mins before serving
