From simple beads to stunning designs

DIY your design

Looking for a creative way to spend an evening? Drop in and design your own beaded creation. You can make earrings, necklaces, friendship bracelets, and keyrings, your imaginations the limit! Think 90s nostalgia with colourful beads and playful designs, it’s the perfect throwback vibe.

Plus, this is a great opportunity to make homemade Christmas gifts that feel personal and unique. Our RLAs will be on hand to help and all materials will be provided, so whether you’re a beginner or a DIY pro, you’ll leave with something you love and maybe even a new skill!

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in the Clevelands lounge. You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

The Clevelands lounge is in the courtyard. The lounge is accessible via card access and seating in the lounge. There are no toilets available in the lounge.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in the Clevland’s Building Living Lounge.

You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like.

There will be some unstructured time while waiting for people to arrive which gives you the chance to introduce yourself, meet new people if you want to, and settle in. If you need some help with this, for example, if you arrive on your own, our ResLife Ambassadors will happily help introduce you or find a seat on a table.

There is no structured break during this event, but you are welcome to leave and re-join at any point. The session runs for around 2 hours, but you can leave at any point, and you’ll be able to take your creation home with you. Materials will be provided for you. All you need to bring is yourself.

Refreshments such as snacks and cold drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own food and drink.
