Creativity, colour, and a whole lot of Barbiecore.
Celebrate Barbie Day with us at a fun, colourful paint & sip session inspired by all things bright, bold, and creative! Grab a drink (yes, we’ve got pink mocktails), pick up a paintbrush, and let your imagination lead the way as you design your own Barbie‑themed artwork, from vibrant colours to dreamy scenes to empowering messages.
No art experience needed, this event is all about having fun, expressing yourself, and embracing the playful, aesthetic world of Barbie in your own unique style. Come paint, sip, relax, and enjoy a creative evening with great vibes and great company.
Our ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in the Pulteney Court Lounge. You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.
The Pulteney Court Lounge is located on the ground floor next to the Operations Office. The lounge is accessible via card access, there is seating and toilets available.
Our RLA's will be in the Pulteney Court Living Lounge to welcome you. This is a themed paint and sip but you are more than welcome to come along and paint your own thing.
There’s no official icebreaker; the event is designed to be casual and relaxed. You can chat with other students whilst you paint or just take some time to reflect quietly if that’s more your vibe.
ResLife Ambassadors will be on hand to help with anything you might need. Don’t worry if you’re coming on your own, they’ll be there to introduce you to other students and get you set with everything you’ll need to join in.
We’ll provide all the materials you need, including canvases, paints and different tasty drink options for you to enjoy. The whole event is unstructured and flexible, come and go as needed or stay the whole time. If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.
