Brendon Court Living Lounge is located on the ground floor of the building and can be accessed through the furthest left entrance door. There a range of seats available including table seats and sofas. Please note that there is minimal natural light so overhead lighting will be used.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you – you’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

At this event, you’re invited to a relaxed mixer night, where you can meet and get to know your fellow neighbours and other students living in your accommodation.

You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like.

Our Ambassadors will be encouraging anyone who would like to take part in some ice-breaker games to get the conversations started, including our always-popular Mingle Bingo! There’s no expectation to join in this if you don’t want to, and you are welcome to sit quietly, take a break at any time, or leave whenever you need to.

Everything will be provided so you can help yourself to a range of party snacks and drinks and have the chance to meet others in a low-pressure setting. There will also be a range of board and card games you can play with others if you would like to.

The whole event is unstructured and flexible, come and go as needed or stay the whole time.

If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.

A range of snacks will be available, and allergens will be clearly labelled.
