Good Company, Great Views
Postgraduate students are invited to take a well-earned break and join us for a relaxed spring picnic at Prior Park Landscape Garden!
Our ResLife Ambassadors will meet you on campus and walk together to the park, making it easy to attend and a great opportunity to chat along the way. Once there, you’ll have time to explore the beautiful surroundings, take in the views of Bath, and settle down on the lawns for a laid-back picnic with fellow postgrads.
This is a simple, social event designed to help you unwind, meet new people and enjoy some fresh air during the busy semester. Whether you’re new to Bath or nearing the end of your course, it’s a lovely chance to connect with other PG students in a relaxed setting.
Bring a blanket, your favourite snacks and your spring energy — we’ll take care of the rest.
ResLife Ambassadors will meet you outside The Library on campus to begin the walk to Prior Park.
You'll be able to recognise them in their light blue hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.
This is a relaxed event where you can enjoy exploring Prior Park Landscape Garden with fellow PG students.
RLAs will meet you on campus before walking to the garden together. Please be aware this a roughly 45minute walk, so be sure to wear appropriate and comfortable walking shoes, as well as any other outdoor layers you may require.
Prior Park is a National Trust property, and entrance to the gardens costs £12. Tickets do not need to pre-booked and can be purchased on site.
Once you have arrived and explored the gardens, RLAs will set up a picnic with a range of drinks and snacks. Students are welcome to bring any of their own supplies either for themselves or to share with the group.
Accessibility information for the garden can be found here.
