Discover Bath's timeless beauty as you wander an iconic garden. 

Ready to get outside, explore, and soak up some of Bath’s most beautiful scenery? Join our ResLife Ambassadors for a fun and refreshing walk to the stunning Prior Park Landscape Garden this summer!

Starting from Bath Spa Train Station, we’ll head out together on a scenic route filled with amazing views as we make our way to this iconic National Trust spot. Once there, you’ll get to experience the magic of Prior Park, think the famous Palladian Bridge, peaceful lakes, blooming gardens, and plenty of picture-perfect moments along the way.

It’s the perfect chance to unwind, connect with nature, and meet other students while discovering one of Bath’s best hidden gems.

The walk is around 2 miles in total, so make sure you come dressed comfortably and ready to enjoy the journey. We can’t wait to explore with you, come along and make the most of the season!

Please note: You’ll need to purchase your own entry ticket to Prior Park which is £12, so don’t forget your wallet.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will meet you outside Bath Spa Train Station and you will be walking to Prior Park.


The route includes steps/uneven terrain steep hills, a rocky uneven section and steps. If you would like more information on the route, the national trust website has more details on accessibility and facilities.

For this event you'll be welcomed by our ResLife Ambassadors from 1:50pm at Bath Spa Train Station who you'll be able to recognise them as they'll be wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo.


If you prefer to arrive earlier, there are benches around the train station where you can sit and wait. The group will leave at 1pm, so please be sure you are ready to leave and have joined the group by this time.


The ResLife Ambassadors will lead the walking group to Prior Park. When you arrive at Prior Park, please be aware you will need to pay for entrance. Tickets cost £12.


The route is around 2 miles (about 1.5–2 hours), with a mix of gentle paths, open fields, and woodland trails. Expect stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of time to take it all in. This will be a relaxed and sociable walk a chance to move, chat, and enjoy the fresh air.


There's no scheduled breaks but please let the ResLife Ambassadors know at any point if you need to rest and have a break, that's absolutely fine there's plenty of scenic points to stop. We will finish the walk around 2:30pm. You're welcome to stay in the park and do some more walking.
