Cheers to new friends and local finds

Ready to explore the best local spots and meet fellow postgrads? Join us for an evening of good company and great conversation as we make our way through some of the city’s favourite pubs and bars.

It’s the perfect chance to take a break from your studies, discover new places, and connect with other students in a laid-back setting. Whether you’re up for a pint, a soft drink, or just the social vibe, this night is all about enjoying yourself and making new friends along the way!

This event is self-funded so you will be required to pay for your own drinks. Remember to bring your ID!

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you outside of Bath Abbey from 7:50pm. You'll be able to recognise the wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

The group will set off at 8:10pm so make sure you are at the Abbey in plenty of time.

There will be some unstructured time while waiting for people to arrive which gives you the chance to introduce yourself, meet new people if you want to, and settle in. If you need some help with this, for example, if you arrive on your own, our ResLife Ambassadors will happily help introduce you.

This event is a social event where you will mostly be chatting to the ResLife Ambassadors and the other attendees. Throughout the night we will visit a few different pubs. Make sure to remember money and your I.D.

There is no structured break during this event, but you are welcome to leave and re-join at any point. The session runs for around 2 hours, but you can leave at any point.
