A night of pride, community and connection

Join us at Polden Common Room for a themed evening to mark National Coming Out Day. It's a chance to celebrate LGBTQ+ identities, meet others, chat with our ResLife Ambassadors and pick up some free goodies along the way.

Everyone is welcome, including allies. You don't need to be out, or share anything about yourself, to come along.

Polden Common Room is on the ground floor of Polden B Block, next to the Polden Cafe and just along from the West Accommodation Centre. The room is fully accessible with step-free access and a range of booth and table seating. There are accessible toilets on the same floor.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you. You'll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

You're welcome to arrive at any time during the event and stay for as long as you like.

Join in with as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. If you're coming on your own, our RLAs will happily introduce you to others. There'll be some free goodies to pick up on the night, while stocks last.

If you need a quieter spot or a break, just let one of our RLAs know and they'll be happy to help. Our RLAs are always happy to chat.
