Bath's summer takeover

It's time for some fun in the sun!

Bring the summer vibes to Bath and join us for Bath on the Beach. This is your chance to unwind, have fun, and enjoy something a little different.

Expect a laid-back atmosphere with plenty to see and do. Think deckchairs, street food, games, and sunshine right in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, meet new people, and take a well-earned break from studying.

Come along, soak up the summer setting, and enjoy a great evening with good company in one of Bath’s most unique seasonal hangouts. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this!

ResLife Team member Tabitha will be waiting to meet you in Victoria Park at the entrance to the Bath on the Beach garden.

For the exact location, you can see the map here. You’ll be able to recognise her wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

The meet time for this event if 5pm, but Tabitha will be outside the entrance up to 10 minutes beforehand if you would like to arrive earlier.

Our group activity will finish at 7pm, but you’re welcome to stay and enjoy more of the garden on your own or with friends if you would like - the beach stays open until 10pm every evening.

At this event you’ll get to visit Bath on The Beach, a summer pop-up garden in Victoria Park that is the perfect spot to enjoy the summer weather. You can expect a mix of activities including beach games like volleyball, table tennis, giant Jenga, and more. Don't worry - joining in is completely optional.

The area is an open park with plenty of space to spread out, relax, and find a spot that suits you. There will be sandy areas set up to give the feel of a beach, along with deckchairs and picnic blankets to lounge on.

Food and drinks stalls will be available, including non-alcoholic options and snacks. Feel free to bring your own refreshments if you prefer.

The event is outdoors, so dress for the weather, and bring sun protection or layers as needed. If you need quieter or less busy spaces, there will be plenty of room to step away from the main activity zones.
