Shake things up at our Mixology Mingle!

New place, new people, and plenty of names to remember? Our Mixology Mingle is the perfect way to break the ice and get to know the other students you'll be living with this year.

Come along to meet your new neighbours and other students from your building, have a go at some games, and take on our always-popular Mingle Bingo. There'll be prizes up for grabs, plus drinks and snacks to keep you going!

Feeling fancy? You'll also get the chance to learn how to mix your own cocktail. And don't worry if cocktails aren't your thing – mocktail options will be available too.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will also be there to welcome you and get to know you. They're a friendly face to look out for if you have any questions about life in halls, and they'll be on hand to help make sure everyone can enjoy the event in their own way.

Whether you arrive with your new flatmates or come along solo, there's no pressure – just a relaxed chance to have some fun, meet some friendly faces and maybe discover your new favourite drink along the way.

Come for the cocktails, stay for the company.

The Clevelands 'Compass' social space is located in the courtyard of the building. There is a range of seating available including sofas and stools. Please be aware that this is a smaller space, so can become crowded if events see large attendance. However, it is easy to step outside if you need a break at any point.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you. You’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

Mixology Mingle is a relaxed and social event where you can meet other students living in your building. There will be games taking place throughout the event, including Mingle Bingo, as well as drinks, snacks and a cocktail-making activity.

The space may become busier and noisier at times as people chat and take part in the activities, however if at any time you need to find a quieter space, our RLAs will be happy to help.

You're welcome to join in with as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. There's no pressure to take part in every game, speak to lots of people or make a cocktail – you can choose the activities that appeal to you and enjoy the event at your own pace. Mocktail options will be available also, and all allergens will be clearly labelled.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you and help make introductions if you'd like to meet new people. They can also answer any questions you have about life in halls and will be happy to help if you're unsure of anything or need a bit of support during the event.
