1. Duvet, duvet cover and sheets - check what size your bed is first and bring/buy more than one set for laundry day! 
2. Pillow and pillowcases - comfy pillows are essential for a good night's sleep.
3. Decorations to make you feel at home - photos, posters, plants, fairy lights. We don't judge, whatever screams your personality. 
4. Pins or command strips for noticeboard. 
5. Things to make it feel cosy - maybe a throw, rugs or extra cushions. 
6. Tech - laptop, chargers, speakers etc. Don't forget the extension lead, or adapters if you need one. 
7. Books and stationery - and some storage for keeping it organised. 
8. Important documents - don't forget your ID and your passport especially if you want to get part time work. 
9. Clothes, shoes and coat hangers 
10. Coats, waterproof shoes, hat, scarf, gloves. It might be warm when you move in but the temperature changes quickly and you don't want to be cold. 
11. Bags - one for being on campus, one for a night out and one if you are going away for the weekend. 
12. Laundry basket or bin - don't forget washing detergent.

Whether you have an ensuite or you are sharing a bathroom, you will need to make sure you don't start to smell by day three. 

1. Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash/shower gel - plus your 12 step skincare routine, hair products and anything else you need! 
2. Toothbrush and toothpaste - if you have an electric toothbrush don't forget the charger. 
3. Towels - if you are in an ensuite you will want hand towels as well. Always have extra towels, and bring even more if you are a keen swimmer! 
4. Toilet rolls and hand soap - essential for every bathroom.
5. Storage - Sharing a bathroom? A caddy or a bag is a great way to keep your toiletries in your room and then bring them with you to the shared bathroom. 
6. Cleaning supplies - Ensuite? You need to clean it! 
7. A robe or dressing gown and slippers/sliders - great for sharing a bathroom and going to the kitchen to make a cuppa when you have just woken up. 
8. Bathmat - Essential for all, we recommend bringing it with you to a shared bathroom. 

All our accommodation provides the essential appliances, such as a toaster, kettle and microwave, so our top tip is don't rush out and buy lots of electrical appliances before you arrive. 

Once you move in you'll be able to decide if you need anything else and your accommodation will thank you for not running eight air fryers at once!

3. A couple of saucepans, frying pans, baking trays - think about what you like to cook and what you need. 
4. Utensils - wooden spoons, spatula, corkscrew, kitchen scissors, can opener, peeler etc. 
5. Extras - If you enjoy cooking or baking you might want to add extras in such as a measuring jug, grater, bowl or whisk.
6. Chopping board 
7. Cutlery and knives for prep 
8. Tea towels and washing up liquid 
9. Tupperware with lids - a perfect lunchbox if you plan to make your own lunch to take onto campus. 
10. Cling film, foil, sandwich bags 
11. Cleaning supplies - an antibacterial spray, and some cloths is a good start.
12. Food and drink - if you have the space it is a good idea to bring some essentials with you just to get you through the first day or so. 
13. Cupboard staples - Spices, seasoning, sauces, stock cubes etc. 
14. Box of chocolates, cakes or biscuits - to share with your new flatmates. 

Everyone is different, and your packing list will not look like your new next door neighbours! Extras things you may want to include:
