Honey roasted parsnips

Perfectly crisp on the outside and tender within

Ingredients

  • Fresh Parsnips x 8
  • Honey (or agave syrup for vegan alternative)
  • Butter (melt) or vegan spread
  • Seasoning (salt and pepper)
  • Oil

Method

  1. Peel the parsnips and chop off the top and tail
  2. Chop into evenly sized batons
  3. Place parsnips in a bowl, adding oil & seasoning. Hand mix to cover all parsnips
  4. Bake on a baking tray in a preheated oven for 20 mins at 180°C
  5. Add honey and butter in the last 5 mins of cooking
  6. Serve when golden brown and sticky
