How to find help and support when you need it

Studying at university can be an exciting and rewarding experience, but it can also come with some challenges and difficulties.

Whether you need help with your academic work, your mental health and wellbeing, your finances, or any other aspect of student life, there are lots of support services available to help you.

Wellbeing Service

Provides wellbeing and welfare advice and support - they are here to talk to you about anything that's bothering you or on your mind.

Be Well - Talk Now

This is a confidential service that offers support from an adviser by phone or live chat. This service is available 24/7, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The Chaplaincy

The Chaplaincy is not only a place but it's a team of people who can help support you. Whether you have a faith or not, they are here to offer advice or just be a listening ear.

Disability Service

Provides specialist advice throughout your studies - they can liaise with your department for study adjustments and apply for specialist 1-1 support and equipment.

Student Money Advice Team

The Money Advice team offers practical advice on managing money, funding and sourcing additional income during drop-in sessions and appointments.

Support and Report

This service can be used by students, staff , and visitors to report discrimination, misconduct, harassment, or assault. All reports can be anonymous or can receive support from an adviser.

Security

The Security Team is here to help at all times to ensure the campus is a safe place. They look after parking, CCTV, lost property, and everyone's welfare on campus. Here are the contact details for security.
