A delicious buttery melody
Prep time: 20 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins
Ingredients
- Carrots – Fresh whole - Bag
- Sprouts – Fresh - Bag
- Seasoning (Salt & Pepper)
- Butter – Knob (Before serving)
Method
- Prepare fresh carrots (cut off both ends, peel and cut to your size choice) – Add washed skins to the gravy pot for added flavour
- Prepare fresh sprouts (cut off base, remove external leaves & cross the stalk in a + shape)
- Blanche in boiling salted water until tender
- Drain water into another saucepan/container if you want to use for gravy later. If not, then dispose
- Add a knob of butter and stir in into melted.
- Serve
