Buttered carrots & sprouts

A delicious buttery melody

Prep time: 20 mins
Cooking time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Carrots – Fresh whole - Bag
  • Sprouts – Fresh - Bag
  • Seasoning (Salt & Pepper)
  • Butter – Knob (Before serving)

Method

  1. Prepare fresh carrots (cut off both ends, peel and cut to your size choice) – Add washed skins to the gravy pot for added flavour
  2. Prepare fresh sprouts (cut off base, remove external leaves & cross the stalk in a + shape)
  3. Blanche in boiling salted water until tender
  4. Drain water into another saucepan/container if you want to use for gravy later. If not, then dispose
  5. Add a knob of butter and stir in into melted.
  6. Serve
