Kick off your summer of fun with a picnic at the Royal Crescent!
New city, new friends, free snacks and beautiful views in the summer sun . What's not to love?
Moving to a new city can be exciting and also tiring so we've got the perfect combination for you! Enjoy a variety of refreshments such as fruit and pastries as well as lots of fun games while taking in the beautiful view of one of baths historical and architectural gems!
This is a perfect opportunity to connect with new people while relaxing and getting a taste for life in Bath.
Our ResLife Ambassador will meet you outside Bath Abbey at 4:30pm. The group will not head off until 4:45pm to allow for late arrivals.
You’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA t-shirts and hoodies with our ResLife Logo on.
Arriving
Our ResLife Ambassadors will meet you outside Bath Abbey from 4:30pm and will walk you to the crescent where ResLife Team member Tabitha will be there to welcome you. If you prefer to arrive earlier, there is plenty of seating available in the social space. The group will leave Bath Abbey at 4:45pm, so please be sure you are ready to leave and have joined the group by this time.
During the event
As a group, a ResLife Ambassador will lead you over to the Royal Crescent. Don’t worry if you’re coming on your own, our ResLife Ambassador will be there to introduce you to other students and get you set with everything you’ll need to join in. We’ll provide all the materials you need, including a fun ice, different tasty drink and snack options and great company! You can expect a fun relaxed evening where you can play games, meet new people and enjoy the sights of bath or head back to your accommodation.
Leaving
The event officially ends at 7pm but you can leave when you like.
