Learn a new craft, bead by bead

Try your hand at beaded tapestries. You'll learn the basics and create your own colourful beaded design to take home.

No experience needed. We'll provide all the materials. You just bring yourself.

Thread, create, repeat

The Clevelands "Compass" social space is in the courtyard of the building and is accessed by card. There is a range of seating, including sofas and stools. It is a smaller space, so it can get busy, but it's easy to step outside if you need a break. There are no toilets in the social space.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you. You'll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

There will be some unstructured time at the start while people arrive. If you're coming on your own, our RLAs will happily introduce you to others or find you a seat.

RLAs will show you how it works, then you can work on your design at your own pace. There will be example designs if you need some inspiration.

This is a calm, focused session. You can chat while you work or keep to yourself, whatever feels most comfortable.

You're welcome to leave and re-join at any point.
