Settle in, grab a slice, and let's get writing. If you're a pre-sessional student, take a break from settling in and soak up your first days in Bath. If you're a postgraduate student come along,

reflect on your year, and share your favourite moments before the summer truly begins.

Join us for Pizza and Postcards, a fun and relaxed evening for pre-sessional students on the 10-week programme, as well as postgraduates who’ve been here all year.

It’s the perfect chance to pause, reflect on your time in Bath whether you’ve just arrived or are wrapping up the year and send a little update to friends and family back home. We’ll provide postcards, stationery, and stamps, just bring your memories, funny moments, and highlights to share.

Enjoy some pizza, meet new people from across the community, and make connections. Whether you’re settling in or looking back on your experience, it’s a great way to relax, recharge, and feel connected.

ResLife Team Member Tabitha will be ready to meet you in the Aquila Court Social Space, through the main entrance and next to the reception.

There is an accessible toilet on the same floor and range of seating available, including both seats and sofas.

At this event, you’re invited to a relaxed evening where you can write postcards to loved ones about your first week here at Bath.

You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like. There’s no official icebreaker; the event is designed to be casual and relaxed. You can chat with other students whilst you write or just take some time to reflect quietly if that’s more your vibe.

ResLife Ambassadors will be on hand to help with anything you might need. The whole event is unstructured and flexible, come and go as needed or stay the whole time. If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.

Pizza will be available, and allergens will be clearly labelled.
