Switch off your brain and get creative

Creation Station is your chance to step away from the books and unwind through creativity. Whether you fancy painting a tote bag, trying out embroidery, or getting hands‑on with air‑dry clay, this is a relaxed space to switch off, get creative, and enjoy a well‑earned study break.

No experience needed. Just drop in, have a go, and make something that’s uniquely yours. Come along solo or with friends, take your time, and enjoy a calm, welcoming environment designed to help you recharge during a busy term.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in the Pulteney Court Lounge. You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

The Pulteney Court Lounge is located on the ground floor next to the Operations Office. The lounge is accessible via card access, there is seating and toilets available.

Our RLA's will be in the Pulteney Court Living Lounge to welcome you.

There’s no official icebreaker; the event is designed to be casual and relaxed. You can chat with other students whilst you craft or just take some time to reflect quietly if that’s more your vibe. ResLife Ambassadors will be on hand to help with anything you might need.

Don’t worry if you’re coming on your own, they’ll be there to introduce you to other students and get you set with everything you’ll need to join in. We’ll provide all the materials you need and snacks and drinks for you to enjoy.

The whole event is unstructured and flexible, come and go as needed or stay the whole time. If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.
