Walk, Talk, and Take in the View – Bath Skyline Awaits!

Take a break from the busy and step into something special. The Bath Skyline Walk offers breath-taking views, peaceful trails, and a chance to see the city from a whole new perspective.

It’s a hidden gem that not everyone gets to experience and you're lucky enough to be here for it. Come along for a chilled-out walk, good company, and scenery that’s hard to beat.

We will be meeting by Bath Abbey, and will leave promptly at 3.30pm, so please be sure you are ready to leave and have joined the group by this time. Bring comfortable walking shoes or trainers, a water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing (check the forecast!)

For this event you'll be welcomed by our RLA Kamalpreet from 3:15pm at Bath Abbey who you'll be able to recognise from wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo. If you prefer to arrive earlier, there are benches around the Abbey where you can sit and wait.

The group will leave at 3.30pm, so please be sure you are ready to leave and have joined the group by this time. Kamalpreet will lead the walking group to the Bath Skyline route.

The Bath Skyline route is around 6km (about 1.5–2 hours), with a mix of gentle paths, open fields, and woodland trails. Expect stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of time to take it all in.

This will be a relaxed and sociable walk a chance to move, chat, and enjoy the fresh air. There's no scheduled breaks but please let Kamalpreet know at any point if you need to rest and have a break, that's absolutely fine there's plenty of scenic points to stop.

We will finish the walk around 5.30pm at Bath Abbey, though this may vary slightly depending on group pace. You're welcome to stay in the city and do some more walking.

On this walk, some paths require access by gate or stile.

The route includes steps/uneven terrain steep hills, a rocky uneven section and steps.

If you would like more information on the route, the national trust website has more details on accessibility and facilities.
