Join the fifth session of our monthly embroidery event
Get ready to stitch your story!
Join us for the fifth session of the year where we will begin our embroidery diaries for 2025.
Taking place each month, join ResLife Ambassadors to embroider small designs that sum-up your favourite moments of the month. Dividing your hoop into 12 sections and adding to each, at the end of the year you will have a beautiful piece of art that showcases all of your important memories.
Open to beginner and experienced embroiderers alike, make friends and meet new people as you create - with warm drinks and biscuits on us!
So what will you add for May? A pencil for exams? A sunshine to remember the beautiful weather? Whatever it is, we can't wait to see what you'll create.
Everyone is welcome to attend! Meet us in Polden Commons.
RLAs will be in Polden Commons to welcome you when you arrive. Don’t worry if you’re coming on your own, they’ll be there to introduce you to other students and get you set with everything you’ll need to join in.
All materials you will need to get involved will be provided, including hoops, fabric and thread. We’ll have some inspiration pictures at the ready to get your creativity flowing, and you’ll be able to decide on any designs or images that you’d like to include for the month. RLAs will also be able to guide you through some basic embroidery stitches if you’ve never tried it before, and we’ll have some printed instructions for you to follow also.
ResLife Ambassadors will also have some snacks and drinks available for you to enjoy while you stitch. Help us make this event a sustainable one by bringing your own cup to enjoy the refreshments.
