A better way to spend an evening in Bath

Enjoy a laid-back evening of games and sunshine at Parade Gardens, where you can unwind, have fun, and enjoy the outdoors with fellow students. Whether you’re a pre-sessional student settling into Bath or a postgraduate looking to take a break, this is the perfect way to spend some time in the sun.

We’ll have a range of classic and easy-to-play games, so you can jump in, challenge your friends, or meet new people in a relaxed, friendly setting. It’s all about good vibes, a bit of friendly competition, and making the most of the warmer weather.

Come along, take a seat on the grass, and enjoy games, laughter, and great company in one of Bath’s most beautiful spots.

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you by the entrance to Parade Gardens. You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

Students can enter Parade Gardens by the Grand Parade and there is a single entrance with stairs and a wheelchair accessible ramp. The paths are paved throughout.

Board games on Parade is relaxed and welcoming event where you can unwind and have fun at your own pace.

When you arrive, our student ambassadors will be there to greet you, help you find a game that suits your interests, and introduce you to others if you’d like. You’re also welcome to join in quietly, observe for a bit, or play solo-friendly games — whatever feels most comfortable for you.

There will be a wide selection of games to choose from. This event will be taking place outside but in case of bad weather we will relocate the event to Aquila Court Social Space.
