After weeks of revision, deadlines, and exam stress, sometimes the best thing you can do is step outside and enjoy the atmosphere of something a little more lively.

Join ResLife Ambassadors for an evening at Bath's Party in the City; a city-wide celebration filled with free live music, vibrant venues, and a real sense of energy across Bath. It’s the perfect opportunity to take a break from studying and experience something different.

Throughout the evening, you’ll have the chance to explore a variety of venues, each hosting its own live performances. From relaxed acoustic sets to more upbeat acts, there’s something to suit every mood, and you’re free to move around and take it all in at your own pace.

Alongside the music, the city will be buzzing with plenty of food and drink options, making it easy to turn the night into a full evening out. Whether you’re stopping for something quick or settling in somewhere for a while, there’s lots to enjoy.

Come along with friends or join in on your own; it’s a welcoming, social way to unwind and make the most of a spring evening in Bath.

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in Green Park House reception, before heading to the first venue of the evening - Green Park Station.

You’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

This is a social, flexible event where you’ll be exploring different venues across the city with Student Ambassadors. You’re free to join and leave the group as you need, and there’s no fixed schedule — the evening will move at a relaxed pace.

Expect a lively atmosphere, with varying noise levels depending on the venue, from quieter acoustic spaces to busier, more energetic settings. The group may be walking between locations, so comfortable footwear is recommended.

RLAs will be there to guide the group and offer support, but there’s no pressure to stay together the whole time. Food and drink will be available to purchase throughout the evening. The focus is on enjoying the music, the city, and a well-earned break after exams.
