A slice of community at Aquila Court

Start your day the right way with our Tea & Toast morning in the Aquila Hub social space. Pop down before class, grab a slice of toast with your favourite spread, and pour yourself a cup of tea — all for free! It’s a simple way to fuel up, take a breather, and say hello to fellow city residents.

Everything you need to enjoy a tasty breakfast will be ready for you to grab and go if you need, but our ResLife Ambassadors will also be around to welcome you and have a chat, so it’s a chance to get to know more friendly faces in your halls.

Plus, this first Tea & Toast event is a chance to pick up one of our ‘take-away events’ – a mystery activity you can take back to your flat and complete with fellow housemates. Another great way to keep building your new connections here in Bath.

Whether you stay to catch up with neighbours or just swing by for a quick bite, Tea + Toast is a warm start to your morning, we can’t wait to see you there.

This event will be held in Aquila Court social space, through the main entrance and next to the reception. There is an accessible toilet on the same floor and range of seating available, including both seats and sofas.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you. You’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

At this event, free breakfast items including toast and hot drinks will be available for all students to help themselves to in Aquila Living Lounge.

A table will be set up with all the items you will need to make your plate, including a toaster and kettle.

ResLife Ambassadors will also be available to greet you and have a chat if you would like, although there is no pressure to have conversations if you would prefer not to.

The whole event is unstructured and flexible, come and go as needed or stay the whole time.

If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.

All breakfast items will have allergens clearly labelled.
