Exploring Jane Austen’s legacy
It's time to discover the world of Jane Austen in Bath! Join us for a visit to the Jane Austen Centre, where literature, history, and culture come together. This engaging exhibition offers insight into Austen’s life, her connection to Bath, and the social world that shaped her writing.
Explore the life, times, and legacy of one of England’s most beloved authors, learn about Regency fashion and society. This trip is a chance to deepen your understanding of Austen’s work and the world she lived in.
This is an enriching experience for any lover of literature or history!
Please be aware: Students are expected to pay for their own ticket.
ResLife Ambassador Kamal will be ready to meet you outside the Jane Austen at 1:50pm. You’ll be able to recognise him wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo.
If you prefer to arrive earlier, there is plenty of benches available nearby.

When you arrive at the Jane Austen Centre, you will need to show ResLife Ambassador Kamal.
Please note the Jane Austen Centre is not fully accessible. The Exhibition room is on the ground floor and can be accessed by a ramp. The talk room on the first floor can only be accessed by taking the stairs as there is no lift. For more details you can visit their dedicated webpage.
There are no scheduled breaks, but if it any point you feel you need to rest, please let ResLife Ambassador Kamal know, he will be leading the group and will help to organise this for you.
