Spring is (finally!) in the air, the days are getting longer, and the Easter break is just around the corner… which can only mean one thing: it’s time for a refresh. Enter the Big Spring Clean; your chance to hit reset on your flat and head into the holidays feeling organised, accomplished, and maybe even a little bit smug.
This Sunday, our friendly team of ResLife Ambassadors are free to lend a hand in transforming your shared spaces. Think sparkling kitchens, clutter-free coffee tables, and a living area you actually want to come back to after the break. Whether it’s tackling that mysterious fridge shelf, wiping down surfaces you’ve been politely ignoring, or finally organising the chaos in your cupboards, they’ll be there to guide and support you.
Before you panic, no one’s here to judge your collection of mismatched mugs. The Big Spring Clean is all about teamwork. RLAs are there to help you and your flatmates clean together, not to do it for you. So expect good vibes, helpful tips, and maybe even a bit of laughter as you collectively face “the cupboard” you’ve all been avoiding.
By the end of it, you’ll have a fresh, welcoming flat ready to return to after Easter, and you won’t have to spend your first day back dealing with old dishes or mystery smells. Future you will be very grateful.

Use the form above to let us know which building and flat you live in, and RLAs will come directly to you at your booked time.
2 ResLife Ambassadors will arrive at your flat at your chosen time (use the form above to select which cleaning slot on Sunday you would like).
They will bring some of their own cleaning supplies, but as a flat please organise your own also. Remember, RLAs are here to help you clean, not do all the work for you!
They'll start by asking a few questions, such as which areas you'd like help with, or if you have any specific concerns. It might be a good idea to discuss this as a flat before hand, so you can make a plan and get started quickly once the RLAs arrive.
RLAs will be with your for 1hr 30mins, and will try to help as much as possible in that time. They are not there to judge or inspect your communal spaces, instead, they are happy to help you have a thorough clean so you can rest easy knowing you have a tidy space to come back to (or enjoy during) the Easter break.
