Rise and shine at our weekly Wednesday Tea and Toast.

Welcome to Tea and Toast, held in the John Wood Social Space. It’s the perfect way to ease into your day.

Whether you're gearing up for a busy schedule or just fancy a quiet moment to yourself, swing by for a relaxed breakfast featuring crispy toast, tasty toppings, and of course, a cup of tea.

This event is all about keeping things simple and sociable. You’re welcome to drop in at any time, stay as long as you like, and enjoy as much breakfast as you fancy. It’s a great chance to catch up with friends, meet new faces, or just enjoy a peaceful start to your morning.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will be there throughout the event, not only to keep the tea flowing, but also to answer any questions you might have about student life, your accommodation, or upcoming events.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in the John Wood Social Space. You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

The space is fully accessible with automatic doors and accessible toilets on the ground floor. If you prefer to arrive earlier, there is plenty of seating available in the social space, and ResLife Ambassadors will be setting up the table to hold food up to 15 minutes before the start of the event.

Our ResLife Ambassadors will be at the event to welcome you.

All our breakfast treats will be clearly labelled for you to help yourself in the John Wood Social Space between 9.30-11.30am. You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like.

All food will be provided in original packaging for anyone who may need to check for allergens. Some plates/mugs will be provided but help us make this event a sustainable one by bringing your own cup to enjoy the refreshments.
