Celebrate the week of Diwali with hand-painted diyas
As we lead up to Diwali, join ResLife Ambassadors at Virgil Building to paint your own diya.
Open to residents living in Canal Wharf, Clevelands, Pulteney Court and Eveleigh Waterside, join us for a fun filled evening where you can paint beautiful clay diyas.
Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Lights, symbolising the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Diyas are oil lamps made from clay that are traditionally lit during prayers, celebrations, and during the celebration of Diwali.
Open to all Virgil Hub students. Whether you celebrate Diwali personally or would like to learn more about the festival, we hope to see you there.
