At this event our dance teacher Cristina will teach you salsa dancing. You don't need any previous dance experience.
In this class, Cristina will teach you a short salsa routine which you will dance to music.

Cristina will meet you in the ResLife Events Lounge in Polden Block C which is accessible by lift.

Before the event you will get card access to gain entry to the lounge. There are toilets on the first floor as well. If you arrive early there is plenty of seating available while you wait. If you arrive late, there is no need to worry, you can join in the class and our dance teacher will catch you up on anything you’ve missed.

Make sure you wear comfy clothes and shoes you can move in. Attendees often wear joggers/leggings, a t-shirt and trainers! Bring a bottle of water as well.

During this session if you are struggling to participate, you can always ask Cristina for help. There is no break scheduled but if you need to rest there is seating available. We do not have a dedicated quiet space, but you are welcome to step into the corridor if you feel overwhelmed during the event.

The ResLife Lounge is on floor 1 of Polden Block C.

There is step-free access throughout Polden Block C, including the main entrance.

A key card is required to enter and the front door is automatic. To access the lift, there is a manual, heavy, single door.

There is permit parking available within 100m in West Car Park, which has 6 blue badge spaces

There are gender neutral toilets, and a toilet with adaptations, on floor 2 of Polden Block C. The toilet with adaptions does not require a key, is large enough for a wheelchair to enter and turn, has grab rails and a low wash basin, however the door is heavy.
