A warm and tasty welcome
If you’re a postgraduate student living in Green Park House, or an undergrad student living in a studio room, this one’s for you! Join us in the Green Park Living Lounge for a relaxed and friendly Sunday brunch. It’s the perfect chance to meet other students, enjoy some great food, and ease into the week ahead.
Whether you're new to Green Park or just starting a new chapter, this event is all about connecting with others and getting to know your accommodation community and neighbours who are in similar positions to you. Expect hot drinks, tasty food, and good conversation.
Our friendly ResLife Ambassadors will be there to make you feel welcome and help break the ice, so make sure you don’t miss out on this chance to find friends and settle into university life here in Bath.
Please note, this event is open to students living in studio rooms and PG students only.
Green Park Living Lounge is located on the ground floor of the building, just right of the main entrance and across from the reception. The lounge is accessible with an automatic door and a sloped entrance for wheelchair users. There are a range of seats in the lounge including table seats, sofas, and high seats. There is lots of natural light from the multiple windows along the length of the lounge.
ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you – you’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.
At this event, you’re invited to a relaxed brunch where you can meet new people and enjoy a variety of different breakfast foods such as pastries, juice, coffee and tea.
You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like.
There’s no official icebreaker; the event is designed to be casual and relaxed. You can chat with other students over breakfast or just enjoy your food quietly if that’s more your vibe. ResLife Ambassadors will be on hand to help encourage conversations and get everyone involved if they would like to be.
Everything will be provided so you can help yourself to a range of breakfast foods and drinks and have the chance to meet others in a low-pressure setting.
There’s no expectation to talk or socialise if you’re not feeling up to it. You’re welcome to sit quietly, take a break at any time, or leave whenever you need to. Participation is totally up to you — you can chat with others, grab food and chill, or simply stop by and head off. It’s designed to be very low-pressure.
The whole event is unstructured and flexible, come and go as needed or stay the whole time.
If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.
A range of breakfast options will be available, and allergens will be clearly labelled. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, feel free to let a member of the team know on arrival, we’re happy to help.
