Chicken Kulambu

A recipe by Dinesh and Kishore 🥘

"When I was in nursery, for Mother's day, they asked everyone to write down the favourite thing about their Mum. Other kids said their smile, playing with them and a whole host of other reasons. I chose my mum's chicken curry.

Chicken curry, at uni, has become a comfort meal that I know I can enjoy no matter what. It's a meal that instantly transports me back to family meals at home on the weekends, watching a movie or sport. And it will still remain one of the many reasons why I love my mum." Dinesh, Cultural & Arts Secretary of the Tamil Society 25/26.

  • Dry spices: 1 stick cinnamon, 4 cloves, 1 tsp cumin, 0.5 tsp fennel seeds
