Did you know that some of our accommodations include Eat and Drink credit in their rent?
Eat and Drink credit means that some of your food and drink is pre-paid for on campus, so you don't have to worry about carrying cash or managing your weekly food budget.
Think catered halls but dining on campus, all paid for through the Bath Go app.
Here's everything you need to know...
What's Eat and Drink credit?
It's credit added to your Bath Go app (or your library card) that you can spend in our cafés and restaurants on campus.
It drops into your account on the app in three instalments – September, January, and April, around the same time as your student loan so you'll be covered for the term.
How does it work?
Once you have downloaded the Bath Go app, set up your account and have received your Eat and Drink credit, it's so easy to use.
When you're at the till, head to the 'Loyalty' section of the app and simply scan your QR code. Let our friendly staff know that you're using Eat and Drink credit and you're ready to tuck in.
You can also use the app to collect loyalty points and use vouchers – it's a win, win!
Can I only get Eat and Drink credit if I live in these specific accommodations?
Eat and drink credit is compulsory for all students living in the specified halls above, however, we do offer a chance to top up with food credit on the BathGo app even if you don't live in these halls.
This is usually used by parents when they want to give you some extra money to make sure you're eating well while you're away from home.
As a great way to take the hassle out of student cooking, it's definitely worth thinking about when you're choosing which halls are best for you.
