BBQ time is here – it's time to get the sunnies on, bucket hats out and start cooking up a feast for you and your mates 😎

We even have two spots on campus made for BBQs, so you can have fun, some delicious food but also stay safe when cooking: 

Eastwood Terrace

This outdoor area on the east side of campus has designated spots for gatherings and hangouts, along with nearby laundry drying zones and...designated BBQ spots! 

Westwood area

Located near the Westwood Mendip, Quarry and Wolfson blocks, you can find another dedicated BBQ spot for students. A perfect social activity for you and your friends to celebrate the end of exams or just a random Tuesday. 

And what makes it more perfect? Our on-campus supermarket Fresh has all the best food for you! 

The Students' Union (SU) provides a BBQ checklist to reduce fire risks and manage food safety. 

Note: You'll generally need to bring your own disposable BBQ and equipment, just make sure it's used in these designated spots and not on the grass.
