Layout and navigation at the lime tree

What to expect when you arrive

Finding lime tree

The lime tree sits right next to Quads A, directly in front of Solsbury Court, and in close proximity to the Chancellor's Building.

It is the closest hospitality outlet to the East Car Park and the Arrivals Square bus station. Outside, you will find a green open area with benches, which is a good spot to sit before, during or after your visit. You can see this clearly through the campus map

Entrances

There are two entrances to the lime tree, both on the side that faces the Chancellor's Building. These entrances have step-free access.

The north entrance is found opposite Solsbury A. It brings you directly into the main food hall.

The layout

The lime tree is an open-plan space with large windows that fill the room with natural light. Rather than one central counter, it has several food stations, each in a different colour.

There are signs throughout lime tree directing you to each section. If you're ever unsure where to go, look out for staff in uniform, who are happy to point you in the right direction.

If you're just here for lunch

You don't need to buy anything from the counters to sit and eat in the lime tree. There's a microwave available if you want to heat up food from home, located to the left of Tiglio and in the central seating area. There are also water fountains near Tiglio and Global Plates if you'd rather refill a bottle than buy a drink.

Leaving

When you're ready to go, there's no rush. Before you head out, remember to place any plates or bowls on a tray in the trolley. Use the bins nearby to dispose of waste.
