Postgrad Bowling Night

Let the good time roll

Take a break from research, essays, and deadlines — it’s time to unwind and have some fun at our Postgrad Bowling Night! Join fellow postgraduate students for an evening of laughter, friendly competition, and a well-earned study break.

Whether you’re a seasoned bowler or it’s your first time on the lane, everyone’s welcome. It’s the perfect way to relax, meet new people, and connect with others who know exactly what it’s like to be deep in postgrad life. Teams will form on the night, so just bring yourself, your game face (or your best bowling pose), and get ready for a few strikes, plenty of laughs, and maybe even some bragging rights.

This event is all about community, fun, and giving yourself permission to switch off for a while. So grab your friends, or come solo and make some new ones, and roll into a night of good vibes, good company, and great memories.

Book your ticket below. Please note you must bring your student card as proof with you to the venue to receive your ticket.

We’ll be hitting the lanes at Bath Sports and Leisure Centre. You can view its location on the map here. The nearest bus stop for this location is North Parade.

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you outside the main entrance on road level (as if walking across Pulteney Bridge). You’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue hoodies with the ResLife logo on.

This is a relaxed event where you can meet with fellow Postgrad students and bond over a friendly Bowling match.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you and explain the rules of the game to anyone who hasn’t played before.

The lane is booked for 1 full game and there is the option to purchase drinks and food at the venue for anyone who would like to do so.

If you need a quieter spot, just ask the team and they can help you find a nearby calm area to take a breather.
