Let's make studying social

As exam season approaches, studying doesn’t have to be lonely! Join us for a Pomodoro group study session with a ResLife Ambassador. Work in focused bursts with short breaks to keep your energy and motivation high, all in a supportive environment where you can connect with other students. Don't forget to bring your revision materials!

We’ll have free snacks to keep you energized, and our ambassadors will be around for encouragement and tips. Bring your notes, grab a seat, and enjoy a productive session with great company.

Polden Commons is located on the ground floor of Polden B Block, next to the Polden Cafe. The room is fully accessible with steps free access and a range of both booth and table seats available. There are accessible toilets located on the same floor.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you – you’ll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

This is an informal evening where you are welcome to bring any work materials you need including books, notes and laptops, to study in company with other students and RLAs.

This is a Pomodoro study session meaning there will be a timer on the screen, everyone does silent study during the 25/30 minutes during the break you can have snacks or chitchat. This will be repeated throughout the evening.

You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like. Refreshments such as snacks and cold drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own food and drink to the event.
