Catch the best flicks, create the best memories!

Who doesn't love a good movie night? Every Wednesday at 8:30pm we host a movie night up on campus or in John Wood. Whether you're a film buff or just here to have a good time, there's something for everyone as we showcase a wide variety of genres and stories. Have a look at what films we're watching in February. Lights, camera, action!

12th March on Campus - The Social Network

As Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg creates the social networking site that would become known as Facebook, he is sued by the twins who claimed he stole their idea and by the co-founder who was later squeezed out of the business.

13th March at John Wood  - Back to the Future

Hill Valley, California, 1985. Destined to follow in his wimpy dad's footsteps, average high school teenager Marty McFly is about to make history. And when his scientist friend Emmett "Doc" Brown fashions a time machine out of a 1982 DeLorean DMC-12, Marty inadvertently jumps back 30 years to do the unthinkable. But things were different in 1955. Like a fish out of water, Marty gives his all to keep the time/space continuum intact; however, unforeseen romantic complications stand in the way of a safe return. Now, a pressing question arises. What will it take to go back to the future?

19th March at John Wood - Shaun of the Dead

Shaun is a twenty-nine-year-old with no real ambition in life, much to the consternation of his friends, family, and fed-up girlfriend. With only a loyalty to his lazy best friend Ed, a dead-end job where his employees step on him, and the good-ol' days, Shaun isn't exactly putting his best foot forward. But when the flesh-hungry undead start to rise in large numbers around modern-day London, Shaun must come to the rescue of his girlfriend Liz and mother Barbara before all hell breaks loose. With loyal Ed at his side to fight the good fight, the two will have to pave their way through zombie-ridden London as Shaun must take on the first real challenge in his life, with comical results.

26th March at John Wood - Horrible Bosses

Nick, Kurt, and Dale are three ambitious friends whose main thing in common is a horrifying daily grind. Nick is a financial analyst who's in line to become an executive at his firm. Unfortunately Nick works for Dave Harkin, an abusive, controlling, manipulative psychopath who's out to make Nick's life miserable. Kurt had a job working for a family-owned chemical company run by Jack Pellit, a boss he really liked, but Pellitt died and left the company to his unhinged, cocaine-abusing son Bobby who threatens to run the company into the ground and squeeze every last cent of profit from it that he can. Dale is a dental assistant whose precious dream of getting married and being a loving and supportive husband is about to come true, but his sexually-harassing boss Julia threatens to tell Dale's girlfriend that they slept together. The three hate their jobs but quitting isn't an option in this economy. Thankfully with the help of several beers and a hustling ex-con, they devise a seemingly-fool proof plan to off their bosses and make it look like an accident. Unfortunately, the most fool-proof plans are only as good as the "brains" behind them.
