Give your wardrobe a new lease of life

Got a plain t-shirt, an old pair of jeans or a jacket that's lost its spark? Bring it along to Refresh Your Fit and give it a makeover that's completely your own.

Join our ResLife Ambassadors at Clevelands for an evening of customising clothes in creative ways. We'll provide the materials, you bring the clothes and the ideas. Add some colour, a personal design or a bit of extra detail, and walk away with something nobody else has.

It's a fun, sustainable way to refresh your style without buying anything new, and a great excuse to get creative with other students. Whether you've got a clear vision in mind or want to see what inspires you on the night, there's no right or wrong way to do it.

No sewing or design skills needed. Just bring an item or two of clothing you'd like to transform.

Make your clothes feel brand new!

The Clevelands "Compass" social space is in the courtyard of the building and is accessed by card. There is a range of seating, including sofas and stools. It is a smaller space, so it can get busy, but it's easy to step outside if you need a break.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you. You'll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

There will be some unstructured time at the start while people arrive. If you're coming on your own, our RLAs will happily introduce you to others or find you a seat.

Please bring your own clothes to customise. All other materials will be provided, and RLAs will be on hand to share ideas and help you get started.

You can work at your own pace and chat while you create, or focus quietly if you'd prefer. Some materials can get a little messy, so wear something you don't mind getting marked.

You're welcome to leave and re-join at any point, and you'll take your refreshed item home with you.
