Cute crafts for a cosy Valentine

Love is in the (clay covered) air

This Valentine’s Day, get your hands a little messy and your creativity flowing at our clay‑making session full of hearts, laughs, and good vibes. Whether you’re feeling loved‑up, celebrating friendship, or just here for the crafts, this is your sign to come along and have some fun.

You’ll be shaping and painting your own air‑dry clay creations, with easy instructions on hand for adorable Valentine’s designs, think heart‑shaped trinket dishes, mini heart magnets, clay roses, and cute heart coasters. No pressure, no perfection needed, wonky hearts are very much welcome!

No crafting experience required and all materials are provided, so just turn up, get creative, and leave with something handmade (and totally unique). Come solo or bring your mates. Let’s make Valentine’s Day a little more crafty, colourful, and fun!

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in Limetree. You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

The Limetree is fully accessible with seating and disabled toilets available. There are water refill stations and quiet areas in case you need a breather.

You’re welcome to arrive at any time during the event. There’s no formal start or end, so feel free to drop in when it suits you and stay for as long (or as little) as you like.

There will be some unstructured time while waiting for people to arrive which gives you the chance to introduce yourself, meet new people if you want to, and settle in. If you need some help with this, for example, if you arrive on your own, our ResLife Ambassadors will happily help introduce you or find a seat on a table. There is no structured break during this event, but you are welcome to leave and re-join at any point.

The session runs for around 2 hours, but you can leave at any point, and you’ll be able to take your creation home with you. All materials will be provided for you. All you need to bring is yourself.

Refreshments such as snacks and cold drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own food and drink.
