A pub quiz at your doorstep

Think fast, guess faster

Thursday night plans, sorted. Our Hub Pub Quiz is heading to John Wood, and it's time to find out who really knows their stuff.

From general knowledge to music, film, sport and a few wildcard rounds, there's something for every kind of quizzer. You might be the team's history expert, the one who knows every song lyric, or the person who confidently shouts out a guess and turns out to be right. Every good team needs all three.

Rally your flatmates, team up with your neighbours or come along on your own and our ResLife Ambassadors will help you find a team. There's no revision required and no pressure, just an evening of laughs, friendly rivalry and a well-earned break from the books.

Feeling quizzical?

ResLife Ambassadors will meet you in the John Wood Social Space. The space is fully accessible with automatic doors and accessible toilets on the ground floor. There is plenty of seating available.

ResLife Ambassadors will be there to welcome you. You'll be able to recognise them in their light blue RLA hoodies and t-shirts with the ResLife logo on.

There will be some unstructured time at the start while people arrive and form teams. If you're coming on your own, our RLAs will happily help you find a team. Each team gets an answer sheet and picks a team name.

There will be several rounds of questions, and you can ask for any question to be repeated. Teams swap sheets and mark each other's answers at the end.

The room may get noisy between rounds. If you need a break or a quieter spot, just let one of our RLAs know. Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be available, and all allergens will be clearly labelled.
