A rose for visibility

Join us as we celebrate Lesbian Visibility Day by recognising, uplifting, and showing support for lesbian students and the wider community on campus. This day is all about visibility, pride, and creating space where people feel seen, valued, and celebrated for who they are.

Throughout the day, ResLife Ambassadors will be around campus handing out pink, white, and orange roses as a simple but meaningful symbol of visibility and solidarity. Whether you identify as lesbian, are part of the LGBTQ+ community, or are an ally, everyone is welcome to take a rose, stop for a chat, and join us in marking this important day.

Come say hello, show your support, and help us celebrate lesbian joy, identity, and community on campus.

ResLife Ambassadors will be walking up and down the Parade.

You’ll be able to recognise them wearing a light blue t-shirt or hoodie with the ResLife logo on.

Students can expect a welcoming, campus‑wide celebration of Lesbian Visibility Day, focused on visibility, pride, and community. Throughout the day, ResLife Ambassadors will be around campus handing out pink, white, and orange roses as a symbol of support and solidarity.

It’s a relaxed, inclusive opportunity to stop for a chat, take a rose, and help celebrate lesbian identity and joy on campus, whether you identify as lesbian or are showing your support as an ally.
