An air fryer cooks food using hot circulating air, and can be a quick alternative to using the oven.
This guide is for air fryers provided in your accommodation; advice should largely apply to personal kitchen appliances, but always check manufacturer information.
You can find out specific, detailed information about an air fryer provided in your accommodation from our online bank of instruction manuals.
The air fryer must be placed on a stable, heat-surface. You can preheat the air fryer similar to an oven, but be careful when adding food to the basket. You can set the cooking time and temperature using the interface, which will audibly prompt you when the timer has finished.
Cleaning the air fryer
Regular cleaning helps prevent smoke, smells and burnt-on food. We recommend cleaning the basket after each use.
To clean the air fryer, first allow it to cool completely. Remove the basket and wash in the sink with warm soapy water, and leave to dry. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
Top tips
- Avoid overcrowding the basket.
- Shake or turn food midway through cooking if recommended.
- Use heat-resistant utensils.
