If you are arriving at the University of Bath and do not yet have your permanent Library card, you may be issued a temporary access card to help you get into your accommodation.
Here’s how it works:
If you are arriving at the University of Bath and do not yet have your permanent Library card, you may be given a temporary access card to help you enter your accommodation. This temporary access card will be valid for 10 days after issue.
Activating your library card for room access
Once you’ve collected your Library card, you’ll need to activate it so it can open your room door.
To do this you will need to visit your ResLife Hub. The Library will not be able to add acess for your accommodation.
Aquila Hub - Aquila, Thornbank Gardens, Scala Court and Scala Building
John Wood Hub - John Wood Court, John Wood Building and Carpenter House
Virgil Building - Clevelands, Canal Wharf, Pulteney Court and Eveleigh Waterside
Green Park House Hub - Green Park House
East Accommodation Centre - Eastwood, Woodland Court, The Quads, Marlborough Court, Solsbury Court and Norwood.
West Accommodation Centre - Polden, Polden Court, Westwood Houses, Brendon Court, Osborne House
Please check opening times before visiting your Hub. For out of hours support, please contact our Security Team on Safezone or 01225 385349.
Why this matters
If your card is not activated, it will not work on your room door. Activation links your card to your accommodation so it works properly.
